Maaike is a relatively easy keeper, she does require senior feed and good quality hay.
Otherwise she goes barefoot, is sound, and only needs regular vaccines, deworming, floating etc.

Maaike-Nienke is quite famous in the Netherlands, winning numerous championships.
She was unbeatable in showdriving as well as in breeding classes.

1990 1st premie, awarded the star predicate, second place in Star mares at National Championship
1991 1st premie, IBOP score 88, reserve champion at Breeding Day

She has also been the national driving champion in front of the sjees, paired with Gerbrand.
