Maaike-Nienke is quite famous in the Netherlands, winning numerous championships.
She was unbeatable in showdriving as well as in breeding classes.

Maaike will be spending the winter here at Rugby Creek and we will anxiously await
spring 2009 when we are going to begin ET (Embryo Transfers) from Maaike!

1987 2nd premie as a foal
1988 1st premie as yearling
1989 1st premie as 2 year old, Young Horse Champion at her Breeding Day show
1990 1st premie, awarded the star predicate, second place in Star mares at National Championship
1991 1st premie, IBOP score 88, reserve champion at Breeding Day
1992 1st premie, reserve champion, model, awarded as a 5 year old.
Reserve Champion of ALL mares in the Netherlands in the National Championship

She has also been the national driving champion in front of the sjees, paired with Gerbrand.
Many people have commented on her excellent “show” presence.

Studbook 3rd Premium;
Just under Ster status, if passes performance test can go Ster

Ster 2nd Premium;
Quality breeding mare, only 20% make Ster status

Ster 1st Premium;
Top breeding mare, only 5% attain this status

Model Mare;
Must make 1st Premie Ster in the year to be presented for Model
If selected for Provisional Model, must pass performance test

Preferent;
Breeding mares that have produced 4 Ster offspring.
A mare can become preferent without making ster status herself.

Crown Jewel;
Breeding mare that has produced 8 Ster offspring.

Prestatie;
Breeding mare that has produced 4 offspring who win in high levels of sport.
